Blood Flow Regulation and Muscle Fatigue After Stroke Study
This study is looking into why muscles in people who have had a stroke might get tired faster. Researchers want to understand how blood flows to leg muscles during exercise after a stroke. They will use a safe and simple method called ischemic conditioning, where a cuff is inflated on the leg, to see if it can improve blood flow and reduce muscle fatigue. The main goal is to measure how blood flow changes and how that affects muscle fatigue over 3 to 5 years. You might be able to join if you are 18-85 years old, had a stroke at least 6 months ago, and speak English. The study is currently recruiting participants.
