Immediate Versus Delayed Loading of Maxillary Overdenture Implants

This study is looking at two ways to attach dentures to implants in your upper jaw (maxilla) if you are missing all your upper teeth. It compares connecting the denture to the implants right away (immediate loading) versus waiting three months for the implants to heal before connecting the denture (delayed loading). You might be able to join if you are at least 21 years old, have no teeth in your upper jaw, and have enough bone for the implants.     The primary objective of this study is to evaluate radiographically at 6, 12, 24 and 36 months post-loading the performance of the BLX Roxolid™ implants placed using a flapless guided surgery and immediately loaded with a maxillary overdenture versus delayed loading 3 months after surgical placement. The outcome will be evaluated using peri-implant, radiographic bone level changes measure in milimeters from standardized radiographs from baseline to 6, 12, 24 and 36 months post implant placement.
