Specifically, researchers want to understand how the gut microbiome of patients receiving PD-1 or PD-L1 inhibitors (types of immunotherapy) relates to their treatment response. You may be able to join if you are between 35 and 75 years old, have a nonresectable or metastatic solid cancer, and have been receiving PD-1 or PD-L1 inhibitor immunotherapy for at least 3 months but less than 24 months. The main goal is to describe the types of bacteria in your gut using molecular methods at the start of the study. The study plans to enroll 16 participants, but its current status is unclear.
