Study on Post-Stroke Fatigue and Brain Stimulation
This study is looking at how a type of brain stimulation called anodal transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) might help with fatigue after a stroke. Up to 32 participants will receive either real tDCS or a sham (inactive) version for five days. Researchers will place an electrode on a specific part of your brain (ipsilesional primary motor cortex or M1) and another near your eye. The main goal is to see if this stimulation can reduce your fatigue, measured by a score called the Fatigue Severity Scale, and how it affects brain activity.
