Researchers will use imaging tests of your chest and a procedure called bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL), where a small sample of fluid is taken from your lungs, to identify these lung issues sooner. The goal is to see if these preemptive assessments can help identify lung injury due to infection or other immune reactions after HSCT. You may be eligible if you are between 5 and 70 years old and are having an HSCT as part of another NIH study.
