Phase II Study of Interleukin-2 for Alzheimer's Disease

This study is looking into whether a low dose of Interleukin-2 (Aldesleukin) can be a safe and helpful treatment for Alzheimer's disease. Researchers believe that in Alzheimer's, certain immune cells called regulatory T cells (Tregs) don't work as well, which can lead to inflammation in the brain. Interleukin-2 aims to boost these Tregs to reduce inflammation. We are looking for 40 participants, aged 50 to 86, who have been diagnosed with probable Alzheimer's disease. The main goal is to see if Interleukin-2 is safe and well-tolerated over a 6-month treatment period.
