Eye Recovery Automation for Post Injury Dysfunction (iRAPID) for Convergence Insufficiency

This study is testing a new virtual reality (VR) system called Virtual Eye Rotation Vision Exercise (VERVE) to help people with Convergence Insufficiency (difficulty with eyes working together) after a mild traumatic brain injury (concussion). VERVE uses a VR headset with eye-tracking to help you practice eye movements by playing a game. The study will compare VERVE to a sham VR therapy (a VR game without eye movement demands). Researchers will measure how well your eyes work together at different points during the study to see if VERVE is effective. You may be able to join if you are between 18 and 40 years old and had a mild traumatic brain injury between 1 month and 15 years ago.

Study design
This interventional study plans to enroll 100 participants. Participants will be divided into groups receiving either the VERVE device or a sham VR therapy.
