Reminder-cue Scanning Training for Visual Field Loss
This study is looking at a new way to help people with homonymous hemianopia or quadrantanopia (loss of vision on the same side in both eyes) scan better when driving. These conditions can make it hard to see things on the side where vision is lost. The study will test "reminder-cue scanning training," which uses sounds to remind you to look towards your blind spot. We want to see if this training helps people scan more effectively and detect hazards better. You might be able to join if you are at least 16 years old, have had visual field loss for at least 3 months, have good vision in both eyes, and have driving experience. The study aims to enroll 16 participants.
