MIND Foods and Aerobic Training for Black Adults with High Blood Pressure

This study is looking at how a special diet and exercise might help thinking and memory skills in Black adults with high blood pressure (hypertension). Researchers are comparing two approaches: "Enhanced Usual Care (EUC)" which includes 5 weeks of hypertension classes, and "Food Delivery and Cooking PLUS Aerobic Training (FoRKS+)" which adds home-delivered Mediterranean-style food kits, cooking classes, and aerobic exercise after the hypertension classes. They want to see if FoRKS+ improves cognitive function (thinking and memory) more than EUC. You might be able to join if you are a Black adult, aged 35-75, live in Marion County, and have high blood pressure. The study plans to enroll 128 people.

Study design
