Get With the Guidelines Atrial Fibrillation Registry

This study, called the Get With The Guidelines Atrial Fibrillation Registry, is observing how hospitals use recommended treatments for patients with Atrial Fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) or Atrial Flutter. The goal is to help hospital care teams consistently provide the best care and to improve the quality of care for these conditions. You might be able to join if you are 18 years or older and have been hospitalized with nonvalvular Atrial Fibrillation or Atrial Flutter. The study will look at how often certain complications, like cardiac tamponade (fluid around the heart) or pericardiocentesis (a procedure to remove that fluid) happen within 30 days after a procedure called ablation. The current recruitment status is unclear.
