Intermittent Fasting for Body Fat and Quality of Life

This study is looking into whether intermittent fasting can help reduce body fat and improve your quality of life. Participants will either follow their normal eating habits for four weeks or practice intermittent fasting for four weeks. Intermittent fasting involves eating all your meals within an 8-hour window each day and fasting for the remaining 16 hours, with water and black coffee/tea allowed during fasting. Researchers will measure changes in body fat percentage and visceral fat (fat around your organs) to see if the fasting approach is effective. You can join if you are a healthy adult between 18 and 65 years old, but not if you have diabetes or metabolic syndrome. The current recruitment status is unclear.
