Electrical Stimulation for Facial Paralysis Nerve Grafting

This study is testing if a brief electrical stimulation (BES) during surgery can improve nerve regrowth and smile outcomes for people with one-sided facial paralysis. You might be able to join if you are 18-80 years old and are having a specific type of surgery called a two-stage cross-face nerve graft (CFNG) for smile reanimation. The study aims to see how well nerves regenerate by looking at nerve tissue (histology) and also by evaluating smile improvements. Study design
This interventional study plans to enroll 20 participants who will be randomly assigned to either receive brief electrical stimulation or standard care during surgery.
