This study is looking at the long-term results of a heart surgery called the Ross procedure (pulmonary autograft replacement) for people with aortic valve disease. The Ross procedure replaces a diseased aortic valve with a living valve from your own body. Researchers want to see how well patients do after this surgery over 1, 5, and 10 years. They are also looking for the best ways to perform this surgery. You might be able to join if you are between 18 and 90 years old and are having the Ross procedure at one of the participating hospitals. This study is currently unclear on its recruitment status.

Inclusion

Patients undergoing Ross procedure at Baylor Scott and White The Heart Hospital, Plano, The University of Pennsylvania, The University of Washington, and Northwestern University.

Exclusion

Less than 18 years of age
Presence of active malignancy
Pregnant at the time of surgery
Inability to provide informed consent
