Hyperpolarized 13C MRI for High-Risk Prostate Cancer
This study is for men with high-risk prostate cancer that hasn't been treated yet. It's looking at how a special type of MRI, called hyperpolarized 13C MRI (HP 13C MRI), can help doctors see early if a treatment is working. You would receive abiraterone acetate and prednisone by mouth. You would also receive an intravenous (IV) injection of hyperpolarized [1-13C] pyruvate and have MRI scans.
