18F-AraG PET/CT for Esophageal Cancer Treatment Response
This study is looking at whether a special type of scan, called an 18F-AraG PET/CT, can help doctors find tumors in people with esophageal cancer and predict how well they will respond to their chemoradiation treatment. Participants will receive the imaging agent ArabinoFuranosylGuanine [18F]F-AraG by IV. The main goal is to see if these scans are safe and can accurately detect tumors and predict a complete response to treatment. You may be able to join if you are 18 or older, have locally advanced esophageal cancer that hasn't been treated yet, and your tumor is larger than 2 cm. The current recruitment status is unclear.
