Passive Stretching and Dietary Nitrate for Peripheral Arterial Disease

This study is looking at how daily passive calf stretching, alone or combined with a dietary nitrate drink, might help people with Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD). PAD causes leg pain when walking due to reduced blood flow. Researchers want to see if these interventions can improve your ability to walk and reduce inflammation over 12 weeks. You might be able to join if you are between 40 and 90 years old, have an Ankle-brachial index (a measure of blood flow to your legs) of 0.90 or less, and have been in a stable condition for at least 3 months.
