Digital Health App for Advanced Lung Cancer

This study is testing a digital health app called THRIVE to see if it can improve the quality of life and symptoms for people with advanced lung cancer. You might be able to join if you are an adult (18 or older) recently diagnosed with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) or extensive stage small cell lung cancer (SCLC), and your general health and activity level are good (ECOG Performance Status = 0-2). The main goal is to see how your quality of life, measured by the Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy - Lung (FACT-L) survey, changes after 12 weeks. The current status of this study is unclear, but it plans to enroll 250 participants.

Study design
This is a multi-site randomized controlled trial comparing the THRIVE digital health app to usual care, involving 250 participants.
What's involved
Participants will receive an iPad with the THRIVE app if assigned to that group. You will complete surveys at the beginning, and again at 6, 12, and 24 weeks.
Compensation
Not stated in the trial record.
Follow-up
Participants will be followed for 24 weeks after enrolling in the study.
