SuperSaturated Oxygen Comprehensive Observational Registry for Heart Attack Patients

This study, called the SuperSaturated Oxygen Comprehensive Observational Registry (SSCORE), is looking at how SuperSaturated Oxygen (SSO2) Therapy affects patients who have had a severe type of heart attack called an ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) or Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI). Researchers want to see if SSO2 Therapy can reduce the size of the damaged heart muscle and improve patients' quality of life, compared to standard care. They will also look at the costs involved. You might be able to join if you are between 18 and 80 years old, have had an AMI, and your blocked artery was successfully opened with a procedure called PCI. The study is currently collecting information, but its exact status is unclear.
