Investigating [89Zr]Zr-DFO-emapalumab PET Imaging for Lung Cancer Immunotherapy Response

This study is looking at a new way to see how well immunotherapy is working for people with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Researchers are using a special imaging agent called [89Zr]Zr-DFO-emapalumab with PET scans. This agent helps detect how the body is responding to immunotherapy. You could be eligible if you have NSCLC, are starting immunotherapy, and have measurable disease that can be seen on a PET scan. The study will measure how much of the imaging agent is taken up by tumors (called SUVpeak, SUVmean, and SUVmax) up to 45 days after starting immunotherapy. The current status of this study is unclear, and it plans to enroll 6 participants.

Study design
This is an interventional study with a planned enrollment of 6 participants. The phase of the study is not specified.
What's involved
You will have standard blood work, a medical history, and a physical exam. You will receive the imaging agent and have up to six PET scans: three within 14 days of starting immunotherapy, and this sequence may be repeated 25-45 days after starting immunotherapy.
Compensation
Not stated in the trial record.
Follow-up
The primary endpoints are measured up to Day 45 after starting immunotherapy.
