pH Weighted CEST MRI for Glioblastoma Surgery
This study is comparing two ways to guide surgery for glioblastoma, a type of brain cancer. One group of patients will have surgery guided by standard contrast-enhanced MRI. The other group will have surgery guided by a special type of MRI called pH weighted Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer (CEST) MRI. The goal is to see if using pH weighted CEST MRI to guide surgery, which can detect tumor tissue not seen on standard MRI, improves how long patients live without their cancer growing (progression-free survival).
