StableEyes for Dizziness in Multiple Sclerosis
This study is testing a new treatment called StableEyes for dizziness in people with multiple sclerosis (MS). StableEyes is a device that helps you do gaze stabilization exercises, which are designed to improve how your eyes stay focused when your head moves. The study wants to see if doing these exercises daily is better than doing them less often. We are looking for people aged 18 to 89 with a neurologist-confirmed diagnosis of MS, or healthy volunteers, who can speak and understand English. The main goal is to measure improvements in your composite VOR gain (cVOR gain), which is a way to check how well your eyes stay steady during head movements, over 18 weeks. The study is currently recruiting 138 participants.

The team will conduct the video head impulse test (vHIT), a physiologic assay of vestibular semicircular canal pathway function. Angular vestibulo-ocular reflex gain will be calculated as eye velocity / head velocity during self-generated and/or passive high frequency head rotations which will be conducted in the yaw, pitch, roll, and/or semicircular canal planes.
