WOUNDCHEK Bacterial Status for Wound Healing

This study is looking at how well a device called WOUNDCHEK™ Bacterial Status (WCBS) helps with healing wounds like leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, or pressure ulcers. The WCBS is a simple test that checks for bacterial activity in your wound fluid. Doctors will use the test results to help decide on the best treatment plan for your wound. The study aims to see if using this test leads to better healing rates and smaller wound sizes after 12 weeks, especially for wounds that test positive for bacterial activity. It also checks that wounds testing negative are still treated effectively. We are looking for about 75 adults aged 18 or older whose wounds are not thought to be infected.
