Testing MyMammogram for Breast Cancer Screening Decisions

This study is testing a tool called MyMammogram, an online program designed to help women make decisions about breast cancer screening. It also looks at how sharing information from MyMammogram with your doctor might help. The study aims to understand if these tools are easy to use and helpful for women aged 39-49 who have an upcoming doctor's appointment and no personal history of breast cancer or a mammogram in the last year. The goal is to refine how future, larger studies will be run in rural areas. This study is currently unclear about its recruitment status and plans to enroll 39 participants.

Study design
This is a pilot study that will enroll 30 participants in a three-arm randomized trial. Participants will be assigned by their doctor to either usual care, the MyMammogram tool, or MyMammogram plus information shared with their doctor.
What's involved
You would complete surveys before, after using the MyMammogram tool, and after your doctor's visit. Mammography screening information will be collected from your medical records.
Compensation
Not stated in the trial record.
Follow-up
The primary outcome, intervention acceptability, is measured within one day of completing the intervention.
