Advanced Cooking Education (ACE) Program for NYC Middle Schoolers

This study is looking at how an after-school program called the Advanced Cooking Education (ACE) intervention affects the eating habits of 7th and 8th graders in New York City. The ACE program includes mindfulness exercises, nutrition lessons, cooking labs, and activities to help with personal growth. Researchers want to see if students' diet quality improves after participating in the 12-week program, compared to before they started. They are also looking at cooking skills and stress levels. This study is for 7th and 8th grade students attending specific schools in NYC, and their caregivers. The study is currently unclear on its recruitment status.
