Diet and Total-Body PET Scan for Psoriasis Inflammation
This study is looking at how a nutritionally balanced diet affects inflammation in people with psoriasis. Researchers will use a new type of PET scan called EXPLORER to measure inflammation throughout your body and in your skin before and after you receive dietary counseling. The goal is to see if this new PET scanner can better detect inflammation in psoriasis patients and if changing to a balanced diet can reduce this inflammation. You may be able to join if you are an adult (over 18) with psoriasis affecting at least 3% of your body, and have a BMI of 25 or higher (meaning you are overweight). The study is currently recruiting a small number of participants.
