Cannabidiol for Cannabis Concentrate Users

This study is looking at whether Broad Spectrum Cannabidiol (bsCBD) can help people who regularly use cannabis concentrates. You might be able to join if you are between 25 and 60 years old, use cannabis concentrates at least four times a week, and are not currently trying to stop or cut down your use. You also need to have been able to stop using cannabis for three days in a row in the last 90 days without severe withdrawal symptoms. Participants will take either 200 mg or 400 mg of bsCBD, or a placebo (an inactive substance), by mouth daily for four weeks. The researchers will measure levels of THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol) and THC-COOH (11-Nor-9-carboxy-THC) in your blood, and also track your cannabis use, to see if bsCBD reduces how much cannabis concentrate you use.

Study design
This is a randomized, placebo-controlled study with 120 planned participants. Participants will be assigned by chance to one of three groups: 200 mg bsCBD, 400 mg bsCBD, or placebo.
