AI in Outpatient Practice for Diagnosing Aortic Stenosis and Diastolic Dysfunction
This study is looking at how well a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool, called the AI-ECG Dashboard, can help doctors find two heart conditions: aortic stenosis (aortic valve narrowing) and diastolic dysfunction (a heart muscle problem). The AI-ECG Dashboard uses information from standard heart tests (ECGs) to identify people who might have these conditions. If you are 60 years or older and are already scheduled for an ECG, you might be able to join. The study will then use a focused ultrasound (Point of care ultrasound or POCUS) to confirm the diagnosis in those identified by the AI-ECG. The main goal is to see how many patients have a positive AI-ECG result and if the ultrasound images are clear enough to use. The current recruitment status is unclear.
