This study is looking at new ways to check for liver scarring (fibrosis) in people with liver conditions like MASLD and MASH. It's testing a device called Endoscopic Ultrasound Shear Wave Elastography (EUS) and Attenuation Imaging. EUS uses a special ultrasound camera that goes inside your body to get very clear pictures of your liver and measure its stiffness. Researchers want to see how well these EUS measurements compare to results from a liver biopsy (taking a small sample of liver tissue) and another test called FibroScan, which also measures liver stiffness. You might be able to join if you are 18 or older, are scheduled for an EUS with a liver biopsy, and are willing to give your consent. The study will consider EUS successful if its measurements of liver stiffness match up well with the results from a liver biopsy.
