ACHIEVE P1-EPI: Text Message Reminders for High Blood Pressure
This study, called ACHIEVE P1-EPI, is looking at how text message reminders can help people manage high blood pressure (hypertension) in the Detroit area. If you have blood pressure above normal levels (120 systolic and/or 80 mmHg) and a phone that can receive text messages, you might be able to join. The study aims to see if these text messages help people remember to take their blood pressure, which could lead to better control of early-stage high blood pressure. The main goal is to measure how well people follow the blood pressure monitoring plan over 12 months. The study is currently unclear on its recruitment status, but plans to enroll 1000 participants.
