Study of Electronic Safety Plans and Text Support for Suicide Risk

This study is looking at whether an Electronic Safety Plan (ESP) and a text support program can help adults who have recently had suicidal thoughts or attempts after leaving the emergency department (ED). The ESP helps you create a personal plan to manage suicidal thoughts. The text support program sends you up to two texts a day for a month, tailored to your needs. Researchers want to see if these tools are practical and helpful, and how best to use them to improve patient outcomes. You might be able to join if you are 18 to 65 years old and have had a suicide attempt in the last 4 weeks or suicidal thoughts in the last week. The study aims to see how many eligible people agree to participate and complete follow-up surveys one and three months after leaving the ED. The current status of this study is unclear.
