Physical Activity in CKD for Adolescents

This study is looking at ways to help adolescents (teenagers) with chronic kidney disease (CKD) be more physically active. We know that being active is good for health, but young people with CKD often don't get enough exercise. This study will test a 12-week program designed to increase physical activity using behavioral interventions delivered through a website. The goal is to find out if this program can help participants increase their moderate to vigorous physical activity by at least 15 minutes per day. We are looking for 64 adolescents aged 13 to 18 who have CKD stages II-V and are not yet on dialysis or had a transplant. Caregivers of these adolescents can also participate. The study's current recruitment status is unclear.

Study design
This is an interventional study planning to enroll 100 participants. It will test different parts of a physical activity program over 12 weeks.
What's involved
Participants will take part in a 12-week physical activity intervention. Their physical activity will be measured before and after this intervention.
Compensation
Not stated in the trial record.
Follow-up
Physical activity will be measured at the start and end of the 12-week intervention period.
