PROSOMNIA Sleep Therapy™ for Chronic Insomnia and Sleep Deprivation

This study is testing a new treatment called PROSOMNIA Sleep Therapy™ (PSTx) for people with chronic insomnia (trouble falling or staying asleep), sleep deprivation, and REM sleep disorders. PSTx uses Diprivan/Propofol, an FDA-approved anesthetic, to quickly induce REM sleep. The goal is to clear a chemical called adenosine from the brain, which builds up when you're awake and makes you feel sleepy. Researchers hope this will improve your sleep and overall well-being. You might be able to join if you are between 18 and 65 years old. The study aims to see if PSTx can reduce sleep pressure and improve how long and well you experience REM sleep.
