Researchers are investigating if detecting a protein called plectin on the surface of cells from bile duct samples can help diagnose cholangiocarcinoma more accurately. You may be able to join if you are 18 or older, have a bile duct stricture (narrowing) or mass seen on imaging, and are already scheduled for an ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography, a procedure to examine bile ducts). The study will consider it a success if positive plectin staining is found in these samples. The current recruitment status is unclear.
