This study is looking at whether a telehealth (virtual healthcare) support program can help caregivers of patients undergoing a specific cancer surgery called CS+HIPEC (cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy). We know that these caregivers often face significant stress, depression, and financial difficulties. This study aims to see if providing resources and support through telehealth can reduce these burdens, improve their quality of life, and help them feel more capable in their caregiving role. We are measuring how many caregivers complete a depression scale to see if this approach is practical. You may be able to join if you are the primary caregiver for a patient receiving CS+HIPEC at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center, are 18 or older, have access to a computer or smartphone, and can read and write English.

Study design

This interventional study plans to enroll 50 participants. Participants will be randomly assigned to either receive a telehealth navigation intervention or standard caregiving experience.
