Cognitive Rehabilitation for Veterans with Depression
This study is for Veterans aged 18 and older who have Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and are experiencing difficulties with memory, attention, or concentration. You must have received treatment for MDD at the Portland VA within the past year and have moderate or greater depressive symptoms. The study is testing two behavioral interventions: Motivationally Enhanced Compensatory Cognitive Training for Major Depressive Disorder (ME-CCT-MDD) and Goal-focused Supportive Contact. ME-CCT-MDD helps you learn strategies to improve your thinking skills, while Goal-focused Supportive Contact focuses on setting and achieving personal goals. Researchers want to see if these programs are practical and well-received by participants. The study aims to enroll 24 participants.
