Understanding How Information Design Affects Health Literacy

This study is looking at how different ways of presenting information, called "data report back," can help people better understand health and environmental information. Researchers want to see if graphical, art-infused, or geospatial (map-based) designs change how much people learn about health and the environment, their awareness of risks, and their confidence in taking action. The study will measure changes in your understanding and skills through questionnaires over 78 weeks. They are testing this in people of all ages, from 10 years old and up, who live in Pinal County, Arizona; Gila County, Arizona; or Cuyahoga County, Ohio. The goal is to find the best ways to share important health information with different communities. The study plans to enroll 1546 participants.

Participants should live in Pinal county, Arizona, Gila county, Arizona, and Cuyahoga county, Ohio.

Exclusion

Individuals living outside of the partnering counties will not be eligible for participation.
