AI Noise Reduction in Phonak Hearing Aids for Hearing Loss
This study is testing a new feature in Phonak Audéo Sphere™ Infinio (PAI) hearing aids called DEEPSONIC™ Deep Sound Optimized Neural Integrated Chip Artificial intelligence-based noise reduction. This technology uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help reduce background noise. The goal is to see if this AI noise reduction can objectively improve how well people with hearing loss hear and understand speech. You might be able to join if you are 18 to 110 years old and have hearing impairment, whether you currently use hearing aids or not. People with a single cochlear implant using a hearing aid in the other ear can also participate. The study will measure improvements in understanding single words and sentences. The current status of the study is unclear, and it plans to enroll 500 participants.
