Reducing Overuse of Antibiotics in Children with Respiratory Infections

Researchers are testing two types of decision support tools: ED Clinical Decision Support (CDS-ED) for use in the emergency department, and Transitions Clinical Decision Support (CDS-Tr) for use during a hospital stay. These tools are designed to help doctors make better decisions about when to use antibiotics. The study will measure how much these tools change antibiotic use and whether they affect patient safety over 10 days.
