Remote Fetal Monitoring in High-Risk Pregnancies

This study is looking at a new way to monitor your baby's health at home if you have a high-risk pregnancy, such as with diabetes or high blood pressure. It uses a device called femomTM, which is a fetal ECG monitor that you wear on your belly. This device measures your baby's heart rate, similar to how an EKG measures an adult's heart. The goal is to see if this home monitoring is practical and acceptable, and if it could be used along with your regular prenatal care. This could make it easier for you to get important fetal testing without always going to the clinic. We want to see how many monitoring sessions you complete and how many of those sessions provide clear, usable information about your baby's heart rate. To join, you need to be at least 18 years old, be more than 32 weeks pregnant, and be recommended for weekly fetal testing by your doctor. The current status of this study is unclear.

Study design
This is an observational study, meaning researchers will watch and record information without giving specific treatments. It plans to include about 50 women.
What's involved
You will wear a fetal ECG monitor on your abdomen. The study will measure how many monitoring sessions you complete and how many are interpretable over 6 weeks.
Compensation
Not stated in the trial record.
Follow-up
The primary goals of the study are measured at 6 weeks.
