Mirror Speech Entrainment for Nonfluent Aphasia
This study is exploring a new way to help people with nonfluent aphasia (difficulty speaking after a stroke) improve their speech. It's testing a technique called "Mirror Speech Entrainment" where you practice speaking along with a digitally altered version of your own voice. This is compared to traditional speech entrainment, where you speak along with another person's voice. The main goal is to see if using your own personalized voice helps more than traditional methods. The study is looking for 20 participants between 18 and 70 years old who speak English and have aphasia due to a left hemisphere stroke. We will measure how fast you speak to see if the interventions are successful.
