This study is looking at whether a daily mixture of spices can improve memory in people aged 50 to 80. The spice mixture contains turmeric, cinnamon, oregano, black pepper, sage, and thyme. Some participants will receive these spice capsules, while others will receive a placebo (maltodextrin capsules, which have no active ingredients). Researchers believe these spices might help protect the brain and improve memory by reducing inflammation and acting as antioxidants. They will measure memory function after 6 months to see if the spice mixture has a beneficial effect. You may be able to join if you have normal aging or mild cognitive impairment (MCI). The study is currently unclear about its recruitment status and plans to enroll 50 people.
