Visual Communication Tool for Cancer Treatment Understanding

This study is testing a visual communication tool called MyCareGorithm. This tool will be used during your doctor's visit to help explain your cancer, its stage, and how radiation treatment works. The goal is to see if using MyCareGorithm can make patients, their caregivers, and healthcare providers more satisfied with the overall experience. You might be able to join if you are an adult (18-100 years old) with newly diagnosed breast or head and neck cancer, speak English, are being treated at NYU Langone Health, and are planning to receive definitive (curative) treatment. The study is currently unclear on its recruitment status and aims to enroll 86 participants. Success will be measured by the percentage of patients who report being "Satisfied" on the day of their consultation.
