Nurturing Outreach for Understanding and Reducing Inpatient Security of Health
This study, called Nurturing Outreach for Understanding and Reducing Inpatient Security of Health, is looking for families in Forsyth County, North Carolina, whose child has been hospitalized at Brenner Children's Hospital and who are experiencing food insecurity (not having consistent access to enough food for a healthy life). The study aims to find the best ways to help these families. Participants will receive either weekly home meal deliveries of "Prepared Meals" for four weeks, or weekly "Grocery Gift Cards" for four weeks. All participants will also receive "Standard of Care" resources for food access. The study will measure how many caregivers are asked to join, how many consent, and how many meals are delivered. The current recruitment status is unclear.
