NMN in Patients Undergoing CABG Surgery

This study is looking at whether an oral medication called MIB-626, which is a form of Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN), can help patients undergoing coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. Researchers want to see if MIB-626 can increase NAD+ levels in heart tissue and reduce damage to the heart and kidneys after surgery. You might be able to join if you are 18 or older, scheduled for elective CABG surgery, and have an increased risk of complications due to age (65+), reduced kidney function (eGFR <45), or a history of heart failure. The study aims to see if MIB-626 can improve these outcomes for patients.

Study design
This is a Phase 2a, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study with 90 participants. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive MIB-626 or a placebo.
