Improving Buprenorphine Care After Emergency Department Visits

This study is looking at ways to help people who start buprenorphine (a medication for opioid use disorder) in the emergency room (ED) continue their treatment after they leave. Researchers are testing a set of strategies to improve how EDs and outpatient clinics work together to coordinate care. The goal is to see if these strategies help patients stay on buprenorphine treatment for longer. You might be able to join if you are 14 years or older and start buprenorphine for opioid use disorder in a participating ED.
