Improving Prostate Cancer Understanding with AI

This study is looking at whether an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot called Chat GPT can help patients better understand their prostate cancer diagnosis and pathology results. You might be able to join if you are over 18, have recently had a prostate biopsy at Cleveland Clinic main campus, haven't yet discussed your results, and speak English. The study wants to see how accurately participants understand their diagnosis and risk level after using Chat GPT. The study is currently recruiting about 50 participants.

Study design
This is an interventional study with an enrollment of 50 participants. It is not specified if it is randomized or blinded.
What's involved
You would spend up to 30 minutes interacting with Chat GPT on a Cleveland Clinic device during your appointment. You must also be willing to attend an in-person follow-up to review your pathology.
Compensation
Not stated in the trial record.
Follow-up
Your understanding will be assessed approximately 70 minutes after interacting with Chat GPT.
