MeDex: No Perioperative Dexamethasone in Brain Metastases

This study is looking at a new way to treat people with newly diagnosed brain metastases (cancer that has spread to the brain). It's testing if it's safe and effective to remove brain tumors without giving patients dexamethasone (a steroid medication) before, during, and up to 3 weeks after surgery. The study aims to see if patients will need to be given dexamethasone later on, which will be checked about 4 weeks after surgery. You might be able to join if you are 18 or older and have new brain tumors and other suspicious masses. The study is currently enrolling a maximum of 35 patients.
