This study is looking at whether an oral supplement called Gamma-glutamylcysteine (GGC) can help people who have experienced many head impacts. The goal is to see if GGC can increase a natural antioxidant in the brain called glutathione (GSH), which might reduce damage from repetitive head impacts. Researchers will measure changes in glutathione levels in the brain and blood, as well as blood iron levels, after taking GGC. They will also look at how GGC affects thinking and memory. You might be able to join if you are a retired NFL player or military personnel with combat experience, are between 30 and 70 years old, and have memory or behavior concerns. The study is currently unclear about its recruitment status.
