This study is looking at how a supplement called Gamma-glutamylcysteine (GGC) might help people with early Parkinson's disease (PD). Researchers want to see if taking 400 mg of GGC twice a day can increase levels of a natural antioxidant called glutathione in the brain and blood. They will also check if GGC affects movement, thinking skills, and gut health. To join, you need to be between 50 and 80 years old, have a confirmed PD diagnosis, and score 26 or higher on a memory test (MoCA).
