Continuous Glucose Monitoring for Type 2 Diabetes in Young Adults
This study is looking at how young adults with Type 2 Diabetes (T2DM) use continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) to manage their condition. You would wear a continuous glucose monitor (Dexcom CGM sensor) for 30 days, along with a FitBit smartwatch to track your physical activity. You'd also complete weekly surveys about your diabetes self-management. The study aims to understand what helps or hinders CGM use, how your awareness of glucose patterns changes, and your preferences for future CGM-based support. To join, you need to be between 18 and 45 years old, have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in the last 5 years, and not have used a wearable CGM before. You also need a compatible smartphone and to be fluent in English. This study is currently recruiting 40 participants.
